RESPONSIBILITIES
Create a welcoming environment, greeting, informing and directing visitors/members and in a warm courteous, and professional manner
Engage with members to assess their healthcare needs
Inform members of PILLARS holistic offerings as well as additional social and other support services
Ensure all visitors/members are signed in electronically and identify the services they are using
Document new clients and returning clients
Support members in advocating for themselves to obtain effective services
Help members develop Recovery Plans and self-monitor their progress
Facilitate non-clinical peer support groups
Handle or assist in crisis intervention
Maintain Monthly State Report for Executive Director
Administer Perception of Care Survey
Front Desk responsibilities:
Answer telephone calls and takes messages for staff
Assist clients logging into their emails and making copies
Maintain Executive Director’s meeting calendar
Update Pillars monthly calendar
Make travel arrangements for staff
Record petty cash receipts and reports
Order and maintain office supplies
Create Time Sheets
File documents and reports
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA)
High School diploma or GED
Ability to work with participants, families, and staff in a caring and respectful manner, while being sensitive to cultural differences
Ability to be empathic, supportive and encouraging
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Have the ability to operate a busy front desk
Strong organization skills are a must
Peer Support: 1 year (Required)
Must be able to provide references
